Technological Innovation | KEDA Stone Machinery's First Super Slim-Line Saw Officially Starts Cutting Operations at Fujian Jiafeng

2024.07.18

Recently, KEDA Stone Machinery's first Super Slim-Line Saw began cutting operations at Fujian Jiafeng!

In recent years, as the industry strives for high-quality development and continues to advance environmental policies, the pressure of overcapacity from homogeneous products has compelled enterprises to drive technological innovation. This push is steering them towards producing higher-end, differentiated, and refined products.

As upgraded machinery from gang saws, KEDA's technical team has dedicated itself to research and development, independently innovating a new generation of "Super Slim-Line Saw" machinery, responding to the industry's technological evolution from "saws" to "lines".

With over 20 years of specialization in stone processing machinery, KEDA Stone Machinery has consistently focused on industry trends to drive technological innovation, enriching professional technical reserves and solidifying its position as a technological benchmark within the industry.

What is a Super Slim-Line Saw?

A wire saw, also known as a "Diamond Super Slim-Line Cutting Machine", is a large-scale stone multi-line cutting machine designed for cutting natural marble blocks and artificial marble blocks. It uses diamond super slim-line to cut in a unidirectional or reciprocating motion. Compared to traditional gang saws, super slim-line saws produce narrower cuts and achieve higher yield rates.

What are features of KEDA Super Slim-Line Saws?

High Yield Rates

Compared to traditional gang saws, Super Slim-Line Saws can increase yield rates by 10% to 25%. Taking a 1.75 cm thick panel as an example, for every cubic meter of stone block, a gang saw can produce 47 m2 of panels, while a Super Slim-Line Saw can yield 55 m2.

Based on average panel prices, each piece of natural marble block can generate nearly RMB 10,000 more in profit simply from the "stone seams". The Super Slim-Line Saw has thus become an indispensable tool for stone enterprises.
  • Ultra-thin Processing: The Super Slim-Line Saw can directly cut ultra-thin slabs as thin as 3 mm.
  • Compact Machinery: Compared to traditional gang saws, the Super Slim-Line Saw reduces floor space by 30% and lowers basic production costs by over 80%.
  • Environmental Friendliness: The waste water and residue rate during production is reduced by over 80% with the Super Slim-Line Saw.
  • Low Energy Consumption, Low Material Consumption, and Low Noise: The Super Slim-Line Saw saves electricity and tool costs, reducing noise during production by 50% compared to traditional gang saws.
  • Excellent Operational Stability: The Super Slim-Line Saw operates with minimal vibration, eliminating the risk of slab breakage and ensuring high surface smoothness.
